St. Marks Church in the Bowery,
with its beautiful dance space and adjoining
garden, is co-sponsoring our next installment of Libertango Dance Company's
'The Other Room' Argentine Tango dance party, which promises to be a
glittering occasion. Our last event was a huge success and a very joyous
affair, and we were very gratified by the rave reviews of the Libertrio
dance performance. We take all comers, beginners to advanced, same-sex
dancing, other-sex dancing. Please do join us.

"Spice" salsa/tango dance festival, a joint venture of 'You Should Be
Dancing' studio and 'Sandra Cameron Dance Center', kicks off May 30 with a
peformance by world-renowned stars of 'Forever Tango', Diego Di Falco and
Carolina Zokalski, with whom I had the privilege of studying earlier this
year. They are spectacular, full of fireworks, and an example of the highest
form of the art.
At: Pier 63 - 23rd St. & West Side Hwy (12th Ave.) (just north and behind
basketball and equestrian centers at Chelsea Piers).
Inside and out (rain or
shine).
Wednesdays 6pm-2am (May 30 to Sept 26)
Live Salsa Band & Tango Orchestra.
Salsa and Tango lessons at 7pm (open
level).
Special dance performances every week.
